“Real Housewife” Returns for the Pampered Lady Cruise and I will be emceeing! Come out for a great day of pampering...

“Real Housewife” Returns for the Pampered Lady Cruise

NEWPORT BEACH, CA One of the stars from the hit reality series the “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is back for Parenting OC Magazine’s Pampered Lady Cruise on March 21.
The Pampered Lady Cruise, heading into its seventh voyage, is the perfect ladies-only mini vacation (and serves as a great Valentine’s Day gift, too.) This event includes a three-hour yacht cruise in the Newport Harbor with entertainment, gourmet appetizers and plenty of pampering and beauty treatments. A portion of the proceeds will help fight breast cancer through Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Orange County.
Joining the cruise is reality star Jeana Keough and friends. Fan-favorite Keough, a luxury-home realtor based in Coto de Caza, is on the fifth season of the Bravo TV series and has appeared since its first season.

The Pampered Lady Cruise is scheduled to depart in the Newport Harbor Sunday, March 21, 2010, from 1 to 4 p.m. on the 140-foot luxury yacht, Endless Dreams, from Hornblower Cruises and Events. The exclusive yacht has been featured in several television shows such as “CSI Miami”, “Dexter” and HBO hit “Entourage”.

Beauty treatments on board include head-to-toe pampering. Get dolled-up with hairstyling from Bombshellz Salon. Meet makeup artist and esthetician, Miki Garcia of Surface Beauty to enjoy non-evasive face peels, Air-Brush makeup and luxurious aromatherapy hand or foot massage with warm deep hydrating paraffin-dip. Derma Sweep micro-exfoliation facial treatment, massages from Milan Chiropractic and acupressure by Coastal Acupuncture will relieve day-to-day stresses. Gina Olsen from Votre Vu will treat cruisers with the most delicious lotions. Other treatments include eyebrow waxing and makeup by Faces by Tahara and spray tan by Smooth & Skinny.

The cruise will feature complete catering and interior décor concepts by international award-winning A La Carte Bistro and cakes and desserts by Donna B’s. During these three hours of pampering and non-stop live entertainment, Janeane Bernstein, producer of “Mamapalooza Rocks the OC!” will emcee the event. For entertainment, there will be caricature photos by Darci Herbold, psychic readings by Jill Williams, High Roller Casinos, lots of giveaways and more. Cheryl Burke Dance studio is also on board to teach various dancing styles similar to the moves from “Dancing with the Stars”. Mike Steele Photography will capture the whole afternoon for memory keeping.

This cruise is all-inclusive for $125 per person. A discounted price of $110 per person is offered to groups of six or more; and $95 per person for groups of 10 or more. Advanced registration per guest is recommended. Additional cruises are also scheduled for May 16, July 25 and September 12.

Yo Gabba Gabba Music is Awesome CD (featuring The Shins, Of Montreal, and The Roots) and other Yo Gabba Gabba! prizes
LUNCH: Two Boots next door is open at 12 for pizza before and after the show.

The 88 is a four-piece rock/pop band from LA that blends British Invasion melodies with an instrumental approach that recalls David Bowie and other '70s rock icons. The band has appeared in numerous ads and TV shows, including performances on The Late Late Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly and "How I Met Your Mother." "It's a fairly safe bet to assume that the band will realize a respectable level of notoriety, the very kind of notoriety that L.A. is built on. For good reason, too - the 88 makes the sort of effortless, embraceable pop that can easily flatter whatever tainted image its hometown harbors." Pop Matters. "On their superslick major-label debut (which features a few tunes produced by R&B maestro Babyface), it's easy to hear what attracted Hollywood and Madison Avenue: These glammy rave-ups -- imagine Mika fronting Maroon 5 -- conjure big emotions without getting mired in tawdry realities." SPIN online.

The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra
(known to some as FTO) makes idiosyncratic pop songs with intricate instrumentation and lush male/female vocal harmonies. "FTO's undeniably strong pop sensibilities [force] them apart from the rest of the trendy herd. Unexpected quirks, richly textured layers and obviously keen musicianship keep this band grounded while others drift into musical oblivion. OC Weekly. "Filled with dreamy pop anthems, The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra's Escapements is delightfully eclectic as their name sounds. Strings, chimes, Camera Obscura-esque guitar riffs, and driving drums come together in enticing staccato rhythms and are then balanced with just enough delicateness to spell out a genuine pop feeling throughout the entire EP.
